EAST HARTFORD, CONN. (FEB. 8, 2012) — Dur-A-Flex debuted its Armor-Stat ESD™    floor system and Applicator Training Program at the World of Concrete, Las Vegas, where over 63,000 attendees strolled the halls and outdoor exhibits looking for ways to improve their businesses.

“This was the perfect venue to introduce Dur-A-Flex’s new products and the timing couldn’t have been better,” said David Hughes, vice president of Marketing, Research and Development. “We were able to personally connect and share our offerings with visitors from all over the globe. In addition to the new Armor-Stat ESD, which combines the excellent wear characteristics of urethane and the protection of a static dissipative floor, attendees were able to get an inside look at the Applicator Training Program at Dur-A-Flex’s breakout sessions. The sessions served as previews of the Program’s curriculum, touching on Dur-A-Flex’s powerhouse urethane system, Poly-Crete®, and Hybri-Flex® voted, “Most Innovative Product” at the World of Concrete 2010. “The well-received teasers offered insight into the Program’s main agenda, which runs bi-weekly at Dur-A-Flex’s East Hartford headquarters. And as we continuously evolve, we want to ensure we align with our partners - who become certified through completion of the ATP. We can achieve this by helping them maintain their certified status via a continuous development format shared by our field Sales and Technical Support teams,”said Patrick Meade, vice president of Sales and Technical Support.

Other Dur-A-Flex offerings that sparked interest from contractors and architects were the mica, glass and metallic flooring samples. The vibrant displays also drew in those interested in the quartz sand that Dur-A-Flex offers for decorative enhancement in various projects beyond flooring such as pool decks and counter tops.

Named one of the “Best Places to Work in CT” for the fourth time by the Hartford Business Journal-sponsored awards program, Dur-A-Flex is a privately-held, leading manufacturer of quality epoxy, urethane, methyl methacrylate and colored aggregates offering a complete line of high performance polymer flooring and wall systems.
