Job: Brand Identity Designer

Job Summary:

The Brand Identity Designer has experience strategizing and designing for brand experience and multi-channel marketing. This individual owns all visual facets of the Dur-A-Flex brand and will work directly with the Marketing Team in setting brand strategy, positioning and direction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Graphic Design function for blog, website, collateral materials, print and digital media; Produce high-quality design deliverables for websites, graphics &, brand logos
  • Identify supporting graphics material needs, use of a variety of technology and design software to edit and format visual assets for placement and use in digital and traditional media.
  • Lead the creative process for all internal branding
  • Maintain and revise brand standards as needed to reflect the positioning and vision of the company.
  • Creation of innovative and best-in-class interactive and internal brand materials
  • Translate product positioning, existing research, and marketing strategies into effective designs
  • Work with leadership to translate and create marketing requests and vision into compelling, performance-focused designs
  • Conceive of, design, review concepts and effectively communicate at each stage of design and production to ensure high quality work through low revisions
  • Partner with marketing and content developers to complete projects collaboratively and efficiently
  • Stay abreast of digital trends to create innovative solutions that drive results
  • Ensure the highest standards, executed with brand-consistent, user-centric design solutions for digital projects
  • All other duties, as required and needed.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in your creative specialization (Digital Arts, Graphic Design, Fine Arts)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in web related marketing and development.
  • Experience with working with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office applications and video & audio editing
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Time management – prioritizing projects and multitasking
  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently
  • Business acumen – understanding of target audience and business model
  • Detail-oriented to ensure brand continuity
  • Expertise in social media best practices
