Dur-A-Flex, Inc’s website has historically been touted as a highly technical website, often referred to as “the best in the industry,” by flooring contractors and architects. With Continuous Improvement as the backbone of the Dur-A-Flex business philosophy, it was imperative that the journey to enhance the digital platform remains a never ending process. Having launched its previous site just a few short years ago, and even with the best library of technical information in the industry coupled with site security and mobile performance, it was not enough to meet Dur-A-Flex’s expectations of quality.
The new Dur-A-Flex.com site design has a cleaner and more modern feel, provides a better user experience and gives Dur-A-Flex more in-house control. This new content management system provides Dur-A-Flex the flexibility to edit existing content and to add and design new layouts without having to wait for a developer to make these changes, providing benefits to new and existing customers alike. Substantial platform changes will ensure the site is maximized for video content and faster download speeds, providing immediate gratification to those who have come to trust Dur-A-Flex over the last fifty-four years.

Improvements in functionality were made across the site including a revised Floor Finder tool, improvements to the sales representative locator, and the addition of more downloadable content such as webinars and industry specific guides. The industry-leading digital Contractor Center and the Architect Center have been restructured and organized for easier browsing while offering more resources. The previous website was a responsive design for mobile viewing; the new site takes this a step further with a mobile-first design.
