Accelera BP is a bond promoting liquid additive that can be added to Accelera EXT to increase the adhesion when installing over an existing Accelera coating.
Here are a few tips that will ensure a successful Accelera EXT with BP install:
- Completely de-gloss the existing coating
- After vacuuming the floor, tack rag to remove the fine particles that are left on the surface
- Always follow proper mixing procedure when adding the BP additive to Accelera EXT.
- Add 1.5 oz of BP to a Large Accelera EXT Resin and mix immediately for 15 seconds.
- Add the Accelera EXT Hardener immediately after the prior step and mix for an additional 30 seconds.
- Apply right away. Do not allow the BP to sit in the Resin (mixed or unmixed) as it will begin to react.
